OMG look at those icicles....

It may not be snowing in South GA but we had fun with the cold weather.
I opened the blinds on Sunday morning to see the most beautiful site, the neighbors had left
their sprinklers running in the front yard and it created the most gorgeous spectacle of
winter wonder!!! Of course my reaction was to immediately grab my camera
and head out there with the girls to explore. I say immediately, as immediately as I do
anything on a Sunday morning, I are breakfast and did the morning cleansing
ritual, threw in a load of laundry, got pissed at the kids, fed the dogs that kind of immediately.

Anyhoodles.... when we finally crossed the street (and knocked on their door to tell them
that we were about to trample their yard to death) it was still in it's full icy cold glory.
Very statuesque just posing in the sunlight and begging for a Nikon to come
along and capture the beauty and color.... and so it did.

I have posted one of the pictures as my 365 project on Flickr... hope the other camera
nerds over there like it as much as I do.  The mosaic above was created on bighugelabs.com
and I tell you I think I'm gonna like playing with that.... so simple!!!!

p.s. the frozen strawberries were a little science project from our lovely little girl next door.

Hey, I thought I was the nerd here?

Is it just me or does she look like she might stab something in that picture? Or is that just because I watched Paranormal Activity?

No it's not just you, I laughed so hard at that one it's almost psycho-esque...

very cool. the big piles of snow melting on the corners of the parking lots are actually making some pretty cool icicles right now...and that look scares me just a bit...

Not a nerd is my vote!

I wrote a story in high school about a guy who murders his wife with an icicle and then there was no murder weapon.
