In this corner of the world there's an abundance of what I like to call practical, not necessarily beautiful, buildings. I really didn't know what "anytown USA' meant until I saw that any town you go, there are the exact same retailers and restaurants and they all look the same. However, in my little town at least we have a beautiful downtown which looks and feels great, Saturdays were made for strolling around Downtown Thomasville GA.

Oh my goodness ... after your opening statement, I thought your town was going to be horrible. BUT ... it is WONDERFUL !! And I find myself wanting to visit one day !!!

It's nice seeing a small town that actually still has shops downtown. So often anymore if there's anything downtown it's crappy old junk shops.

We have similar buildings as yours!! Except unlike your first photo our benches face outwards, toward the street.

yellow! europe always sounds like a romantic beautiful old place but, unfortunately, we ALSO have "anytown insert country name". it's a curse and it's everywhere. boo hoo.
