This time of year sucks... in the allergies department anyway.
I have been suffering with sinus problems (again) for a few days now.
The other night I was banished to spare room 'cos his gorgeousness couldn't get
any sleep due to the decibel level of my snoring and apparently gross
phloem breath....ooohh sexy.
Last night, same thing, although I got to stay in my cozy bed while he slept
elsewhere.... I don't know exactly where... could have been with the ho down
the street I wouldn't have cared.
It's making me crazy, I'm stuffing drugs I can't spell down my gullet and
using millions of tissues to expel the snot. There's eye drops a plenty
and I'm miserable.... in short it's turning me into a crazy(er) bitch!!!!
I was so pissed when hubby was late home yesterday that I bitched and bitched
at him when he came through the door (at 8 oclock!) he got mad back at me
and it wasn't pretty. He then walked to the pantry to give the dogs a treat
and ended up putting it in his own mouth!!!! Hilarious!!!!!!! Now that's the
way to end an argument.
So folks if anyone out there has any remedies or old wives tricks that will
end this torture please, please let me know. I'm willing to try anything...
yes anything... I don't care at this point.!!!!!
it's all your fault, pretty little, good smellin' Jasmine!!!!!

it's been killer here too - sorry you're having such a rough time.
I have no helpful tips for you; only sympathy. Two of my children are miserable this year. My youngest thought he'd swallowed grass because his throat was so itchy. dang.
I hope you are feeling better soon.
Thx peeps... btw Mamaface.. I love your little profile pic.. cute!!!
I totally feel for you! I have lucked out this year. I will not complain one single bit. My children have not faired as well. One child has coughed for a solid 2 months. We head to Dr's next week.
Argh...here's what been working for me: allergy shots, Singulair (miracle drug, IMHO), spoonful of local honey daily, and when it's really bad loratadine. (hehe...the word verification was dingo...hehe)
For the last several years, for me it's been a bad bout of allergies, followed by a sinus infection, followed by bronchitis. Last year, even after I recovered from all the rest, I lost my sense of smell for about 3 months. Since the beginning of the year, I pop one Singulair and take a couple of hits of Nasonex at night, and I haven't had any problems at all, even when my truck was covered with yellow pollen all through April.
This routine sure has worked for me a lot better for me than popping generic Benedryl and other OTCs. On the other hand, your insurance has to be pretty good, as the drug companies are rather proud of their products.
Oh Meanie you're not so mean at all.... thanks for the advice, I'll be checking it out. I'm done with all this mess.... ;o)
Oh quit being a snotty baby. Buck up woman! zyrtec is good too
I don't know how you will feel about this, but mine got so bad I saw an allergist and had allergy shots. My biggist issue has lways been grass! Did you know there is a grass vaccinne? I now get the occasional sniffle in the morning, and still rely on my visine but it is NOTHING like it used to be:) Be well.
